31.08.07 - The BBC 2 Working Lunch programmes featuring Lauroux will be shown at 12.30pm on Tuesday 4 September and Wednesday 5 September and available on the Working Lunch website. 28.06.07 - Richard James, the man behind "Winewriting.com" has been added to our christmas card list! We've been regular visitors to Richard's site for some time now - his reviews, tasting notes and down-to-earth style really helps with our WSET studies. A few weeks ago we took a deep breath and sent a bottle of our 1986 Armagnac to Richard for his comments. We waited..... and he sent us his conclusion: "....its delicious". 16.12.06 - Joe Fattorini - (see www.joefattorini.co.uk ) writing for the Glasgow Herald says: "The Côtes de Gascogne has leapt out of the sea of Vin de Pays mediocrity to produce some of the best, liveliest, brightest wines this year. so it's brilliant to feture another stellar wine, made by Nicholas and Karen Kitchener - a British couple who sold up, moved out and now succeed brilliantly as winemakers. Spotless, clean fruit,bouncy citrus freshness and smiling with ripe tropical fruit. What a beauty". Suffice it to say - we love Joe!!!!

18.07.2006 Planet of the Grapes, our London-based distributor, launches its retail outlet after 2 years very successful trading via the web and through its network of private clients. Matt and Marc apply their highly individual style to sourcing their wines and spirits - their passion and energy for their work is infectious - a visit to the shop at 9 New Oxford Street, WC1A is sure to be a very entertaining and rewarding experience!
4.07.2006 Nick's plans for global domination step up a notch as we agree terms with an agent in Scotland.... Shane Dunning of Dunning Wines has been in the wine trade for over ten years, working in both London and Scotland, and has built up vast experience of many of the finest wines from all over the world, especially Burgundy, Bordeaux, Italy and The USA. Along with wine, whisky, and fine food Shane tells us he has managed to develop a lifestyle far beyond his means, but has a lot of fun doing it - sounds like he has a lot in common with Nick!
28.06.2006 Domaine de Lauroux's wines have been chosen by the chic bistro chain "Le Mistral". With the opening of "Mistral 3" in Nottingham City Centre, and the launch of "Mistral 4" anticipated early in the Autumn, life is pretty hectic for Jim, Andy and the team - many of whom have visited the Domaine to share our passion for the wines produced here. We have many happy memories of "the Mistrallers" - many of which can't be shared on this website! We are delighted that our wines have been selected as Mistral's house range and we look forward to working with Le Mistral for many years to come. 14.03.06 Francophile website and information source www.frenchduck.com.uk features our Floc de Gascogne and Armagnac. If you've never visited their site before - do so now - it's a really useful source of information for all things French, particularly some wonderful photographs. The site includes wine tours, where to stay and where to eat - there's even a Q&A forum! We particularly like the section on "French Winemakers" - we've submitted samples of some of our wines and hope French Duck will feature Domaine de Lauroux soon!
